NOUN CAN BE A/AN
- Person:- A name for a person:- Om, Julie, Roshan, Mitesh, Manjay, etc.
- Animal:- A name for an animal:- dog, cat, cow, kangaroo, etc.
- Location:- Name of a place:- London, Australia, Canada, Mumbai, etc.
- Object:- Name of any object :- bat, ball, chair, door, house, computer etc.
- Thought:- Name of a thought :- Devotion, superstition, happiness, enthusiasm etc.
And this is completely true, according to Grammar, all the things in this world are called Nouns, as well as those which we cannot see or touch, only we can feel like honesty, dishonesty, good intelligence etc. | All of these are nouns.
The definition of the second most common noun is that Noun is a Naming Word.
Examples of nouns on the basis of PARTS OF SPEECH:-
- Sachin is a wonderful player.
- He is a man of dreams.
- The bat is made of wood from a tree.
- My brother has a mobile phone.
- The phone is made of plastic.
- I need some water for the cake.
- The jug is on the Chair.
- There is also a pen and a diary on it.
